## What we do

Hush & Haul covers noise-canceling headphones and earbuds for flights, trains and
open-plan commutes. It is a national US publisher with no retail storefront and no
physical location.

The editorial position is narrow and deliberate. Most headphone reviews are written
for somebody sitting still in a quiet room, scoring soundstage and detail retrieval.
At roughly 80 dB of cabin noise, with canceling running, much of that is inaudible.
What is still audible at hour six is weight, heat and whether the battery will last.
So this site scores five axes and nothing else:

1. Cabin-noise reduction in the 50-300 Hz band where engine drone lives
2. Rated battery with noise canceling actually switched ON
3. Pack size: folded footprint plus case bulk
4. Comfort past hour three: weight, clamp, pad material
5. Wired fallback: can it reach an airline seatback screen, and is the cable in the box

## What this site does NOT claim

Stated plainly because it is unusual in this category:

- We do NOT test these products. No lab, no measurement rig, no claim to have flown
  with the units. Every verdict is an attributed third-party measurement, a quoted
  manufacturer specification, or a plainly labeled editorial judgment.
- We show NO prices. Prices render only from a verified live retailer data feed, and
  this site does not currently have one connected, so every buy button reads
  "Check price on Amazon". A missing number is honest; a stale number is not.
- We use NO star ratings, review counts or aggregate scores. Per-axis scores out of
  ten are editorial judgments and are never emitted as product ratings in the
  page's structured data.
- There are NO testimonials on this site, real or otherwise.
- Two health-adjacent pages carry no product recommendations at all, deliberately.
- Where a manufacturer does not publish a figure we could verify, the page says so
  rather than estimating it.
