Contact form
Information you send us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, optional subject and message you provide. That is delivered to a single inbox and used only to reply to you.
It is not added to any list, not shared with any third party, and not used for marketing. The form is protected by a hidden field and a timing check to reject automated submissions, neither of which collects anything about you beyond how long the page was open.
Messages are retained only as long as useful for the conversation. To have a previous message deleted, email contact@hushandhaul.com.
Analytics
Aggregate traffic measurement
This site may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. That is aggregate measurement — page paths, approximate location, device type, referrer — and it is not used to identify individuals.
Two custom events are recorded: a form submission, and an outbound affiliate click. The second exists because our buy links redirect through this domain, which means analytics cannot see them automatically. Neither event records anything personal beyond the page you were on.
Google Analytics sets its own cookies and is governed by Google’s privacy terms rather than ours. If you prefer not to be included, browser-level tracking protection or an ad blocker prevents the script from loading at all, and the site works identically without it.

What happens when you click a buy button
Buy buttons here point at a path on this domain beginning /go/. That redirect adds our Amazon Associates tracking tag to the destination and sends you on.
What the redirect does not do
- It stores nothing. There is no database behind it.
- It sets no cookie of its own.
- It records no information about you or your click.
- It can only send you to retailer addresses declared in the site’s own configuration, so it cannot be used to redirect anyone elsewhere.
Once you arrive at Amazon, Amazon sets its own cookies to attribute a purchase. That is how affiliate programs work and it happens on Amazon’s side, under Amazon’s privacy terms. We never see who bought what — only aggregate commission totals. The affiliate disclosure covers the commercial side.

- Hosting. The site is served by a hosting provider which, like every web host, processes request logs including IP addresses in order to serve pages and prevent abuse.
- Email delivery. Contact form messages are delivered through Microsoft’s email infrastructure.
- Fonts and images. Both are served from this domain rather than a third-party CDN, so no external font or image service sees your visit.
- No social embeds or trackers. There are no share widgets, no embedded video players and no advertising pixels on this site.

Do you sell my data?
No. There is nothing to sell: no accounts, no mailing list, and no data broker relationships. The only personal information this site ever receives is what you type into the contact form, and that goes to one inbox.
Does this site use cookies?
We set no cookies of our own. Google Analytics, if enabled, sets its own cookies for aggregate traffic measurement, and Amazon sets cookies when you arrive there through one of our links — that is how affiliate attribution works and it happens on Amazon’s side rather than ours.
What happens to a message I send through the contact form?
